Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer to join an established Healthcare Organization located in Philadelphia . This position is REMOTE, but living within a 2 hour commute is preferred. The Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer will design develop and maintain the systems and software. Responsibilities of the Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer include: You will be responsible for reviewing and debugging and troubleshooting applications. Managing and supporting parallel filesystems. You will be responsible for performing the migration of data. Qualifications for the Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer include: 5-8 years of experience Oversee and provide assistance for concurrent file systems, like GPFS Experience working in higher education Familiar with HIPPA protocols Red Hat certification is preferred Experience using multi-cloud computing environments (Azure and AWS). Bachelor's degree Compensation For Sr. Application Engineer Salary Range: $130,000-140,000 **depending on experience** Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
