Impact As a Senior FP&A Manager at Shipt, you will play a critical role supporting the operations team in planning for new delivery market and retailer activation, conducting internal and external benchmarking, and developing business cases for new capabilities. You will have the opportunity to take on high visibility, strategic projects and workstreams focused on optimizing Shipt’s performance through financial analytics, business insights, and organizational partnerships. This role will be seated in our Minneapolis, MN or Birmingham, AL office. What You’ll Need to Be Successful Model key assumptions for new market entry, including labor availability, driver acquisition needs, driver wage expectations, and service times.Create business cases for new capabilities, highlighting strategic and financial value to ensure an acceptable return.Conduct benchmarking of operational and financial results across product lines, markets, and competitors.Be a trusted advisor to business partners, highlighting opportunities for process improvement.Develop and present annual goal and quarterly forecasts to program stakeholders and finance leadership.Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; Graduate degree preferred6+ years of experience in accounting, data analytics, and/or corporate financeStrong communicator with proven ability to communicate across functions and departmentsEntrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skillsAbility to lead core processes across a hybrid teamComfort navigating ambiguity and complex financial data Work Arrangement Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role. Pay Range Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: $88,000-$176,000 All other locations: $73,000-$147,000 Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
