Job Title: Onsite Desktop Support EngineerLocation: Na Poříčí 1047, 110 00 Nové Město, Praha, CzechiaStart Date: 15th February 2025Contract Type: Full-Time, Consultant RoleSalary: 2300 Euro per month About the Role:We are looking for a skilled Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team in Prague. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT professional to take on a hands-on role providing both local and remote desktop support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:Provide first/second-level support for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and application troubleshooting.Manage and resolve tickets using a dedicated helpdesk system.Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows OS (XP, 7, 8.1, 10) and a variety of other desktop applications (Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, etc.).Support and troubleshoot various IT systems including desktop hardware, printers, and peripherals.Assist with fault diagnosis and remediation for network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.Collaborate with third-party vendors for complex IT issues and ensure seamless resolutions.Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication on issue status and resolutions. Who We’re Looking For: Fluent in English and Czech (both required)At least 3 years of IT experience, including hands-on experience with Windows Desktop support.Strong technical skills in Windows OS (7-10), Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365, and Ticketing systems.Experience in troubleshooting desktop hardware, printers, and peripherals.Familiarity with Mac OS and mobile device management (iOS/Android) is a plus.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Certification in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or a similar qualification is nice to have.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
