Job DescriptionH2Bravo is hiring interested individuals to immediately deploy to South and Central Florida to support Florida’s response to Hurricane Milton. Selected candidates will perform the Florida: Certified Residential Appraiser role. Successful candidates will be responsible for working with local permit offices to evaluate residential appraisals that have been provided as part of the permitting process. This evaluation will be used to assist with applications completing the permitting process. This role requires a deep understanding of appraisals and valuation processes. Appraisers will play a vital role in expediting the permitting process, focusing on projects in flood-prone areas, and ensuring alignment with FEMA and NFIP guidelines. Daily work schedule will be 8 hrs per day, Mon – Fri with the possibility of weekends. This position is expected to last 2-6 months. The work will be in person and onsite. This is a temporary position with no benefits. Minimum QualificationsMust be a Certified Residential Appraiser with current certification (all state certification considered)Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential property appraisalsProficiency in appraisal software Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsValid driver’s license Experience in using GIS software for identifying flood zonesAbility to interface and communicate with building permit staff and homeownersDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Must be 18 years of age or older
