DESCRIPTIONTax Operations - Global Shares Team RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure consistency in information reporting practices within the banks accounting systemsPrepare and maintain procedure documentation.Mapping process flow for transaction information and recipient information for CIB clients.Prepare communication on status of tax document preparation, progress, accuracy, and correction, and present to Management.Maintain metrics on account filings and corrections.Research, communicate, and resolve questions for key stakeholder(s).Perform preliminary checks on tax reporting information, before Tax Season and Print Day validations.Assist in overall needs of the team and provide support in areas of specialty as well as during peak periods. QUALIFICATIONS3-6 years of US Tax experience (FATCA, 871M, withholding)Financial Services/Banking experience (Custody product knowledge a PLUS)Strong Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for Data ReconciliationCollege degree or relevant work experienceReporting Specifics:Ø AEOI – FATCA and CRS reporting for an entity regarded as a custodial financial institutionØ 1042S reportingØ T5/T5008 reporting (Canada)Ø W form validation, US Indicia and the subsequent application of back up withholdingØ 1099 B and 1099 Div reporting as well as 1099 copy to IRS filingAbility to perform tax reconciliationsProject Management/Analytic experienceDemonstrated Communication skills with Senior ManagementAbility to adhere to procedures, controls, and deadlines.
