Transformer Re manufacturing and Engineering Services (TRES) is transformer Service Business under Power Grid Transformers (PGTR) division which provide transformer repair, consultancy, RLA, transformer erection, testing, commissioning, transformer Intelligent equipment supply and services, supply of spares to customers. We are looking for next “Workshop Production Engineer” in Hitachi Energy for our TRES transformer repair factory, Kartal-Istanbul. Person selected for this position will be s eager to contribute the change with continuous improvement mindset and inspire people in the organization in order to reach the level of ‘’World Class Manufacturing ‘’ necessities with below qualifications Your Background University Degree, in Electrical EngineeringAt least 2 years of experience in working in production, transformers experience is an asset. Demonstrated experience working on a production line, with supervisory experience beneficial.Ability to organize & prioritize to meet the specifications and deadlines.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.Ability to adapt and manage fast-paced environment and ability to change direction when priorities, deadlines etc. shift.Team player, analytical mindset, and the ability to motivate others as well as continuous change & learning.Lean Manufacturing & Operational Excellence knowledgeExperience on Lean 6 Sigma methodology is preferable. Good command of written and spoken English & Turkish.Completed military service for male applicants. Driving improvements; Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety.Technical support for customers, sales team, and partners,Getting the purchasing code of the transformer for repaired transformer from SAP, Archive and prepare and send these codes to related teamsPerform final electrical tests of power & distribution transformers after inspection and repair and preparations of reports.Drive Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous improvement & learning organization.Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate non-conformities, and deliver excellent customer service.Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems.Manage and set-up daily MDI KPI following S,Q,D,I,CMonitor and analyze results with methodology of A3,8D to clarify main root causes for the problems.Take ownership and responsibility in driving Integrity, HSE and strong Quality culture.
